Review on Hobonichi Techo + new pencil case from aliexpress

So I realise that I have not post anything for a long time!

It’s time for a quick review on my 2018 planner 🙂 As mentioned last year, I snapped up a Hobonichi Techo when it was first released online. I was very excited because I came across Hobonichi Techo only 2 years ago and really wanted one. So I was really looking forward to 2018 so that I can start using it lol

I purchased A6/English version and love the size of it! Some might find it too small but it was enough for my daily use. I am not exactly creative or colourful. Some people really do decorate their planner to the max! The only page I really spend time on was the page on my NYR. I just write down whatever I wanted to do/spend on/wishlist etc.

I love the daily page. The problem I have with my previous planner was that it didn’t have the space. I can only write like 3 lines max and there is a weekly page beside it. But I seldom fill it up. I still couldn’t get used to the format after 1 year of usage lol

So far it has been quite good. Even though I didn’t write anything some days, but I can always go back and fill it up. Its easier to record things, memories, future events etc. Overall, I feel so organised and well-planned!

I uses a pouch from Kikki K to store my planner. A6 is such a good size as it is small enough to fit into most bags 🙂 I uses the online exclusive hobonichi pen while at work and do not bring any extra pens to work as I rarely have the time to write in my planner. But I need to bring it to work just in case. That’s another reason why I love this planner. It is bulky but it is so light!

The only negative point I could think of is of course the price HAHAHA My friend nearly fainted when I told her how much I spend on this!
Well, I have experienced with different planners for a few years now. I could only say a good planner doesn’t comes cheap. 🙂 and this planner has proven to be well worth the money.

Pencil case!
I gave myself an excuse to buy a new pencil case to match my planner. I don’t bring it out but I would keep it on my desk to store some pens… I looked around and the one that I really like was Kokuyo.
But I didn’t want to spend so much on a pencil case. So I went to aliexpress and found one that I really like. It cost only USD2.60! As for the quality, well, it costs only USD2.60! The zip is quite fragile as compared to an old adidas pencil case that I have. But it would be good enough for a few months use!
